Raised by his grandparents in the Cape Flats, Cape Town. Aiden Huegh is a true musical talent. What started as simply strumming along as a baby with his late grandfather, Charles Heugh, was the start of a music obsession that guided his life.

During Grade 9 at Heideveld Senior Secondary School, Aiden signed himself up to the music programme so that he could stay afterwards to learn about and listen to the beautiful sounds of each instrument.

After completing school during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, Aiden worked hard so that he could save up money to buy second hand music equipment and build a make shift music studio inside his bedroom. He watched YouTube videos to teach himself how use the electronic equipment, and then offered recording sessions to local artists while silently writing and creating his own music.

Afterlife is his first official release - his view on a life of what could be, and a mark of what's possible when someone commits to their craft, no matter where they start.
