Here time forgets its hurried pace, the fynbos hums a slower song, and once a year this quiet place welcomes those who've run too long in cities, screens, and schedules tight. They come to feel the soft, dark loam, to climb where forest meets the light, and find, in mud and mist, a home. The trail winds on through green and gold, past streams that knew this land before the runners came, the stories told — and still the ancient trees keep score, not of finishers, or place, or time, but of every soul who came to roam, to lose themselves in George's climb. And somehow, find their way back home.
